I often forget what January weather looks like until it’s right here in front of me.
Sometimes it’s really cold, sometimes it’s bearable, other times the fog is so thick I can hardly see my toes.
Even though this weather is nothing to get excited about, it reminds me that this time of year is for rest, recuperation and rejuvenation. It’s a time to gather energy to embark on a new journey.
January is a time to take things slow, get caught up on to do lists, and the weather can help keep us focused on what needs to get done.
To illustrate the scene, these lovely works of art echo this slow time of year. Keep looking for beauty in the quiet and gray days of January. Before you know it, Spring will be upon us!
