Are you thinking what I’m thinking – now that Season 4 of Downton Abbey has started, we can all rest assured knowing the year is off to a good start?

I hadn’t realized how much I had missed the old Crawley crew, both upstairs and downstairs, until a wave of comfort washed over me not more than 5 minutes into the first episode. Particularly this season, I immediately found myself under the spell of that Edwardian setting and the romance and glamour of 1920s fashion.

Visually speaking, I think we have a lot to look forward to in Season 4. The richness of the colors, fabrics, hats and jewelry might just do me in, and that’s not to mention the house and the furniture.
